The Full Cupboard
We’re committed to fighting food insecurity through our signature cause, The Full Cupboard. Since 2013 we have raised more than $1.68 million—equivalent to 4.5 million meals.
We believe in supporting local non-profit and charitable organizations that serve the most vulnerable in our communities. We create capacity in the social sector by leveraging our financial strength and our social vision, Lead Well. Through Lead Well, employees volunteer their time and skills to help our communities flourish.

Cancer touches many lives, including our colleague Lisa and her husband. With one in two British Columbians affected, we’ve committed $400,000 over four years to the BC Cancer Foundation through initiatives like the Workout to Conquer Cancer Challenge.
Established in 1996, the First West Foundation is our philanthropic partner and a federally registered charity. It has awarded over $12.6 million in grants, including $975,759 to 100 charities in 2024.
Working together
Our impact
Mackie’s Place empowers over 50 at‑risk youth each month through its incentive‑based Job Skills Program, providing hands‑on training, mentorship, and real work experience to prepare youth for future employment. Participants earn funds for essential needs like clothing and bus passes, while receiving the support and resources they need to grow and succeed. By supporting Mackie’s Place, we are investing in the potential of young people and the future of our community.
The Ronald McDonald House BC & Yukon Family Room at Surrey Memorial Hospital provides a comforting, home‑like space where families with children receiving care can rest, recharge, and stay close to their child. With amenities like food, kitchen facilities, quiet areas, showers, laundry, and private sleeping spaces, it supports families during stressful times. We are proud to help provide nutritious meals, ensuring families have the strength and support they need while caring for their child.
Since 2015, 124 people aged 16 to 69 have completed Community Leaders Igniting Change (CLIC), a grassroots impact program for South of the Fraser neighbourhoods that fosters shared learning, culture, and inspiration. Through partnerships such as with the Self Advocates of Semiahmoo, the program has expanded inclusivity, with six self‑advocates completing CLIC. After graduating, participants receive SPARK grants to create and activate neighbourhood and community events.
