Partnerships

Making a difference our communities

We believe in the power of partnership, working together to achieve social impact and make a difference in our communities.

Feed The Valley

Our Signature Cause, Feed the Valley program supports 11 food banks in the Okanagan, Similkameen and Thompson Valley’s communities. Since 2013, these programs have raised over $3.1 million and collected over 106,512 pounds of food for our partners (as of 2024). It’s due to the unwavering support of our members, community partners, and team members, that we’re making an incredible difference through donations and volunteerism that directly benefits the community where it was given.

BC Cancer Foundation

With one in two British Columbians affected, we’ve committed $400,000 over four years to the BC Cancer Foundation through initiatives like the Workout to Conquer Cancer Challenge.

First West Foundation

Established in 1996, the First West Foundation is our philanthropic partner and a federally registered charity. It has awarded over $12.6 million in grants, including $975,759 to 100 charities in 2024.

Community partnerships

We believe in the power of partnership to create lasting, positive change in our communities, fostering sustainable collaborations aligned with six Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Community impact

Through Lead Well, team members grow as leaders while giving back—contributing over 2,600 hours in 2024 to support those in need and strengthen communities across B.C.

A collective of trusted local brands

We believe financial service is best when it's local

At Tru Cooperative Bank, we’re an expanding collective of trusted financial services brands that are stronger together. We connect to people with education, advice and tools so they have the opportunity and confidence to build a life they love.
